Any mk 1/3 in progress you doing as well ?

Glad to hear you doing it old school way with your magic touch
Any reason why? I though digital sculpting took over

Plus the answer I quoted at the top of this thread came from a question posed by Ricky Bobby. I always think of him as a Street Fighter fan....

F$ck!!!

I'll certainly be jealous of the MK fans if that is the case...

NOPE! I am right. I just checked the question from Ricky Bobby. He says "SF". Phew.... I was about to throw my toys out of my pram! MK gets so much love.

Hmm...that threw me off to. Up until that question I've never really read Jerry saying much about a 1:3 SF piece. He always talked about it being MK. Infact I recall Jerry saying he wanted to stay away from a 1:3 SF piece since one was already being made...I think by HCG? Not really sure. I could be wrong here, it was a long time ago. Not trying to crap on the SF fans, I hope they get one also. I just assumed when he said he would show the first 1:3 piece at NYCC he was referring to MK since he confirmed a few times already that's what he was working on.

I would definatley buy every 1/3 scale of the original Fighters + Akuma if they get a mixed media treatment.

I'd jump on this if it was a One Off. Like the crown jewel to the collection.

No way could I justify (to myself) spending upwards (I'm sure) of $500.00/$600.00 for a line of 1/3 statues.

Not to mention the amount of space needed to display them.

IMO, 1/4 scale hits the sweet spot for size and price.

Having said that, it'd be a real thrill to see some full body sculpts by Jerry.

I agree Patrick but I have to say the prospect of a hand sculpted Ryu in an action pose from Jerry is mouth watering!
Even though I have very little space I would probably get this. I'd find a way to make it work.

Imagine having Ryu and Evil Ryu facing each other in hadoken action poses. Now imagine mounting them on a shelf over your (my) 55inch HD TV and playing Street Fighter. What a shrine that would be!

This is truly great and exciting news for all SF fans, its been a long time coming since comic con of 2011.I remember Jerry saying he wanted to change his original 1:3 Ryu because of HCG's...as if they ever had a chance vs Jerrys Its very rare we will have Jerry hand sculpt SF pieces anymore,so it will be very special.Anything he does SF related by hand has always been a winner.Even though it will be twice the price as a PF,it will be totally worth it,and we will finally have our SF centerpiece I know Jerry said he was making 1:3 MK stuff, which is also nice for the MK fans, but the SF fans should get theres first, cause we have been waiting longer, and SF is just better than MK

I didn't even notice that Jerry had replied to me in plural amounts, damn Mark good pick up kinda surprising to
