Awesome pics! To the collectors that have it, do you think the statue itself is a little heavy or is DD on the lighter side?

The one thing that was a bit annoying is that there was a huge difference between UPS and FedEx. UPS was $40.53 while FedEx was $74.02.

Exactly why I switched from FedEx to UPS last month. FedEx's deal with Sideshow must not be as good as the one they have with UPS.

DD's body feels like an average PF in weight, it's got some heft but isn't ridiculous. The base however is like a brick.

Also, just for those wondering, the base comes in 6 pieces and DD is 3 pieces.

Congrats guys...great pics. A lot of shading that you couldn't see very well in the previous pics/vids. The detailing really pops.

Thanks josh! My first 1/4 IS piece as I’ve heard horror stories of other larger pieces in this line I was a bit skeptical about the quality.

I had heard the same things, but the sculpt on this was just too much for me to pass on. Glad I didn't.

I will say, if I had one nitpick after spending a few hours with this statue it would be that I wish the magnets for the hands were a bit stronger, they work and hold, but don't have the same pull as other magnets on the piece. However it's a small nitpick honestly and if I decide it's a problem I can always see about replacing them.

If you're on the fence with this piece, don't hesitate. I own a mess of statues and, although my enthusiasm has been waning in recent years, this is the happiest I've been with a piece in some time. Total keeper. Perfect representation of the character in my estimation.

(And it looks delish with Sideshow's Harbottle Elektra.)

Thanks for the awesome pics everyone. This immediately takes the cake as the best DD statue for me. Sadly I don't collect 1/4 scale, but I'm really happy for those who got him.
