- Matt Hardy has claimed one reason he was fired was a rumor he "put out a hit" on Edge after he found out about the affair with Lita.

- Vince McMahon may have relaxed his decree about no top rope finishers, as evident by Ken Kennedy being allowed to use his.

- POTENTIAL SPOILER: The No Mercy PPV in October is scheduled to be headlined by Eddie Guerrero vs. Batista and Randy & Bob Orton vs. Taker. Orton's rumored feud with Mysterio is set to begin at some point after that.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

No it wont you cant put a brute and a wrestler together. The wrestler has to slow down the pace to let the brute catch up.

According to Mike Johnson over at the Insider, Masahiro Chono announced that Brock Lesnar would be working for New Japan Pro Wrestling on their 10/8 Tokyo Dome show. Dave Meltzer over at the Observer, however, says that there has not been an announcement, and that Chono just "talked" about Lesnar being at the show at an airport in Germany.

Meanwhile, the ongoing litigation between Lesnar and the WWE over his non-compete clause (which lasts until 2010) is set to hit the courtroom on 9/15 for the discovery hearings. With the chances of the case being over by 10/8 being somewhere between "not likely" and "no chance in hell", it's questionable on whether Lesnar agreeing to work for New Japan is the smartest of moves.
