Ono-San: Tell him how much the PCS statues mean to you

Guys

If you get the chance tell Ono on Facebook (he just joined) or Twitter how important the PCS Street Fighter statues are to you.

I think we can raise the profile of the statues in his mind and of course to other Street Fighter fans who will see the posts.

Here's mine and he responded.

Cheers

I had a great sit down with Ono during Comic Con. I think we are going to do a lot of great things together over the next few years.

I thought he was fired or stepped down? I know Seth left. Anyway, I rather have him focus on games.

He supposedly had health issues. But he was repping Capcom hard at SDCC. Hopefully Darkstalkers 4 is on the way...

Here's a theory that he just left or got taken off the SFxT project.

Sad about Seth....

Fine for him to focus on the games but then delegate the statue responsibilities. From everything I have heard their approvals are taking way too long. I don't want to have to wait a lifetime for Blanka, Dhalsim, Ryu 1/3, Alex, Balrog. Sagat Bust, Ryu Bust, Gouki/Gouken Diorama, etc. etc. I'd really prefer a faster output.

Plus, any interaction with Ono is public. It's a good way to have the Street Fighter fans be made aware of the statues and bring new collectors into the market, which will raise the value of the statues on the secondary market because they will be come scarce.

Yah, he has way more important things to do like keeping his games afloat.

OK. If you collect this line what are your options? Sit around waiting for 20 years for the line to be complete? Or push for a resolution to the approval delays?

Like I said he can delegate.

And to be honest I'm not sure what's going on with him right now. He appears to be focused on garnering support from the fans, perhaps in order to leverage his power at Capcom.
I mean he's literally answering every single tweet and Facebook message. So if he currently has time to do that then he has time to fix the approval process on merchandise such as the PCS statues.

I'm a die hard Street Fighter fan. I love the game(s). Don't get me wrong. But currently Ono is the "approver". I mean, he met with Jerry at Comic Con.
We are not asking him to take on more responsibility since he's deemed it his responsibility anyway.

If he doesn't have time for it, because of commitments, or because he doesn't think it's important well then he should delegate.

I just think Twitter and FB are powerful mediums and it would be good to let him know how important these statues are to us.
Then perhaps he could fix this clearly broken process.
