XM Studios - US License

Saw a post on social media that XM will now be offering Batman White Knight, Batman Death Metal, and Batman Metal for US and Canada distribution going forward.

XM now has 1/4 rights in the US and Sideshow didn’t have an event that previews their upcoming 1/4 PFs. Wonder if these are connected?

Also prime 1 expanding to 1/4th DC. Wonder if they lost exclusivity.

And both instances are DC related, so maybe Zaslov said no more exclusive Sideshow license and opened it to other companies.

Hmmm ...very interesting indeed.

Wonder what's going on behind the scenes.

This is a win for consumers.

I also hope the 1/4 DC license is more open now and there is more competition amongst the companies. Maybe some new characters will be produced.

I don’t collect these particular lines but between this and P1’s DC 1/4 this is a big win for collectors in general. Especially since SS’s character selection is increasingly narrowing and they still have yet to nail a very good 1/4 comic book Batman.

We’ll see what these prices do though. That’s one area SS has had others beat, even with their own rising prices.

Yea, this doesn't really help us if the shipping cost is still expensive. We need a US Distributor that will help reduce the shipping cost in any way they can.

And with the way the prices keep going up for XM, this news might be moot anyway.
