But whatever that power was (which was some odd thing about being able to shift three seconds into the future or something), I seem to remember that he lost it. Something to do with some crystals he stole from the Inhumans. That ability is gone. Also, I remember that he could give folks powers, but those folks burnt themselves up eventually. I believe that had something to do with the crystals he stole. But like I said, that ability is gone (Didn't Pietro return the crystals? My memory is not sharp on what all was going on here.)
But during his recent appearances with the Avengers, Quicksilver is a speedster, same as he always was until M Day. It's as if he never lost his powers.
I believe a writer just said "Screw it. I'm making Quicksilver fast again." I really believe that.

Hmmmm as a big Pietro fan, I wish I had the answer, but sadly this may be another Marvel act of ignorance

Endangered Species was the precursor for Messiah Complex so you could draw a long bow and say that the effects of that storyline are still being played out today with the Second Coming storyline....

Ok Neil, I just checked that one shot Mike mentioned. Quicksilver: The Quick and the Dead.
Mike is right. His "other" powers are removed and his speed is returned to him with absolutely NO explanation.....

After reading Siege #2 and #3, I guess there's no doubt who his bruiser is anymore.
