1K is a lot for that to me, but if you have the $ and like it, it's a deal. eBay is a curse and a blessing depending on what side you're on. Artists now have an outlet to sell their pieces and reach millions of buyers, pre-eBay buying art was more affordable and you bought it at cons or from ads in trade mags. Pre-eBay if a sketch costs more than $50 it was VERY rare, now you're lucky to get one for $50 or under. I paid $35 for Rude and Adam H. back in the day. People are even listing signature sketches (a quick doodle the artist does while signing his name) for $20.00+, insane (I blame Dynamic Forces for that.)
