How is the third volume? I’ve heard it’s mostly the white lantern stuff and not much Hal Jordan.

Having read this entire run when the monthly comic books came out, this series greatly lost its steam after Blackest Night, I think in the second Omnibus Volume, when they got into the White Lanterns and Brightest Day which, I think, is the third volume.

That’s pretty much what I’ve heard, that’s why I’ve been torn on whether to pick up #3 or not. I’ll probably cave and pick it up.

If you’re a completist it’s hard not to do so. Besides, even Johns’ worst stuff still is pretty good.

That Absolute collection of the Dini/Ross tabloid size books is great.
