They look OK. My issues with them would be:
1) They don't look like they go together. The scenes are completely unrelated. When Bowen did Spidey/Venom and Hulk/Thing, they looked like they went together. (My wife actually got me the Hulk/Thing bookends for our 10th Anniversary.)
2) Cost. Bowen issued its bookend set for $150. Even given inflation, these should not be more than $200. It's one of the main reasons I do not collect DC Direct.

I like the batman side but must agree that the two ends don't look like they belong together . Why man bat? I would rather have the 13" superman , that thing looks cool.

I am all about this. I saw the sketch in Toyfare a few months back and knew I had to have this. While I would prefer straight-up statues of Supes and Bats in Ed's style, I really like this piece. The price is steep, but I doubt I will pay full retail anyway.

They look true to Ed McGuinness's art. Which is why I hate them. Sorry Ed but, I don't like your artwork. All his stuff looks overblown. Takes all kinds though.

Good Lord! Look at what you have made of poor Ed.
I guess I am one of those kinds. I can live with that.
