Pass...this looks really awful. A horrendous mish mash of characters and history. really Azazel? Female Angel from Morrison's run? Havok, Mystique, and whoever the heck else before Cyclops and Jean?
Worst. Movie. Ever.

how is a movie with mystique and tons of new characters created recently by marvel even close to anything related to the 'first class' of x-men...seeing such an utter disregard for source material makes me want to puke in my mouth, I hope nobody sees this garbage

Even going by movie continuity it should have been Scott, Jean, Ororo and Hank.
Hot mess I tell you, hot mess. I want to see the X-Men I care about not some second raters plus Magneto and Xavier's relationship.

Is this confirmed to have the same continuity as the other films? Or is this a reboot ala Spider-Man?
I had assumed it would follow the earlier continuity, but between this, and the X-Men stuff in the Wolverine movie.. I'm kind of wondering.

yeah MAYBE if they included the real first class that people want to see (beast cyke jean the real angel and iceman) and then included all those other stupid nobodies, I would have maybe seen it in cheapies just for a laugh, but they cant even do that right...intead we get freakin azazel? mystique? white queen?? terrible terrible terrible

I read that it wasn't a reboot, but a prequel. However all signs point to a reboot. Either way it has none of the real big name X-Men. And I could care less about Magneto and Xavier's lovers quarrel.
