Rated R as well. This is the first time since Mask of the Phantasm an animated Batman has been put up on the big screen if I am not mistaken.
Some may be concerned that additional new material with Batgirl is being added, but I think it's in good hands and I can understand why they felt it was necessary. It would add far more emotional impact.

I'm surprised they didn't turn this into a live action movie....

My guess is that if Heath Ledger's Joker had remained an option -- it would have been made.

I can't see Jared Leto's Joker going this route. He is not selling me, but that could be because I'm too distracted by the cracked out art direction they took the character.

Ticket bought!! (Though I'm a little sad it's not Bruce Timm animation. To see those blocky, but sleek and beautiful designs on the big screen.....)

Anything negative that I feel is counteracted by hearing Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy again.

I saw this (don't ask how) but I did. I never read the comic so 2 things came as a surprise to me, a scene with BG and then the end.

Spoiler
Batgirl bangs Batman

Spoiler
The ending was really a let down, Batman and Joker "bond" for a moment
