SPLIT by M. Night Shyamalan
This looks promising with the cast and story premise. Perhaps a shot at redemption for Mr. Shyamalan?
Movie releases January 20, 2017.

I haven't watched The Visit yet. Is it worth my time?
Trailer gave it a very Paranormal Activity vibe to it.

you just quoted him as saying the visit was the last straw, do you really need to ask him if he thought It was any good?

I liked the Visit mostly. It has a couple wtf type things in it, but I thought it was well paced and had some genuinely creepy and effective moments. Maybe they just need to keep the big budget stuff away from him and he'll be alright. Under constraint he'll be forced to work within his means and come up with interesting stories that aren't too outlandish...maybe.

I was curious as to where it ranks among the M. Night films. Was it an improvement over The Village or The Happening? Or worse?
I'm too gun shy to rent at Redbox...even for a $1.50.

Good point. Although I think he tried that with DEVIL, the elevator flick. It turned out mediocre at best.

I never saw the Visit, but in relation to the surprise "twist" endings of other Shyamalan films I am guessing that the 2 kids are actually made of cookie batter.

lol surprisingly this is not the twist but if it were it wouldnt of suprised me considering who directed it haha
it just seems that all his movies are only about the twist and thats it, maybe thats ok sometimes but thats how all his movies are, everything else in the movies suffer for the often predictable twist
