I wish photography existed back then and there was a photo of her. I'd be really curious to see how Da Vinci interpreted her. Still though..very interesting story.

As much as we have daily horrific events (that are sadly becoming more commonplace as each year rolls by) we have to put up with living in this crazy era, it's equally as exciting to be alive and kicking when discoveries such as this are being made. This and that dinosaur discovery someone else mentioned recently.. wow. If I was still teaching, I'd be making lesson plans galore on this stuff. Haha!
Goofy statement, but I'm serious.

I forget what the Louvre staff said it was made of, but it was crazy thick.
