Mondo Halloween Titles Wanted in October
Mondo's supposed to have a lot of horror prints next month. We might even get one tomorrow. Let's try a list, see if we get anything that we pick for October. My list so far:
The Ninth Gate - This would make an awesome print with the book illustrations and all the crazy elements going on.
Creature from the Black Lagoon - This should be in the works from Martin Ansin. Who knows when it will be released to go with the others.
Alien / Aliens - Double feature prints. Like TRON and Star Wars.
Night of the Living Dead (original & remake) - This could be double feature or I would go for the remake. I like the twist with Barbara.
Halloween 1 or 3 - Let Martin Ansin or Tyler Stout give a try on Halloween. Also, I would like a Halloween 3 print.
The Descent - I want to see what Mondo can do with this one.
Rabid - Mondo did this once. I want to see another version. They still have the Cronenberg series I think.
Shivers - A remake is in the works. I want to see their take on the original.
Predator 2 - I like Predator 2 more than most. By itself or a double feature with Predator.
Friday the 13th Part 2 or Part 6 - We are about due for the next one in this series. They skipped Part 2 for the Part 3 portrait last month.
Grindhouse - Planet Terror or Death Proof. They have to make Death Proof for the Tarantino series. I can't believe Planet Terror doesn't have a print yet with Robert Rodriguez showing up at the gallery a few times.
Screamers - I like this one. A few good twists plus Peter Weller.
Underworld - I doubt we'll get this one. But it's on the list.
Prometheus - I want more than just that landscape from JC Richard. I want something with the characters.
Creepshow 2 - Just to see what they come up with.
Dark City - Honorable mention. It's kind of a dark sci-fi with some horror elements.
