Invisible Woman Bishoujo
This is not an announcement, so relax. I was just wondering what some of your opinions were of the Invisible Woman Bishoujo? I was thinking about pick her up to complete my Bishoujo collection but there aren't really any good video reviews or even good reviews of her on the web. Heck most of the images of her are not very good, some angles she looks great, others just bloody awful. Was she unpopular or just not a good statue? Any opinions, thoughts, rants, reviews, pics, videos, anythings would be greatly appreciated. I have been on the fence about pulling the trigger to get her and would like some honest feedback of if it is worth it or should I just wait for the next new Bishoujo? Thanks in advance.

Thanks kikoken, I can see that. The pose doesn't bother me personally, just the fact that sometimes her face looks completely off depending on the angle.

I've not been able to put my finger on it, but she doesn't really feel like Sue Storm to me. She has possibly the worst hair in the bishoujo line which is weird considering the sculpt draws attention to it with her holding it. The paint and sculpt of the hair is bad. It's flat and too shaded. It's too dark in places. The paint on the rest of her is great. And the base is one of my favorites. She fits in with the current 1/7th size so she's not bad in my book but could really use some new hair.

Thanks HieroJux. I get what your saying. It is all about her head to me. Like I have said above the sculpt of her body and the base are good, just something is off with the face and hair that makes her look odd depending on the angle. I wonder, in your opinion (and others who read this) would it be better to try and find a remotely inexpensive SDCC version of Sue Storm? That way the hair is a different color and length, she isn't holding that one piece in her hand. Is the SDCC version better or worse is what I am getting at? (Granted looking at eBay, that seems impossible to do, so let's stick with the original one)

Thanks built2shred, that seems to be the general score I feel most are giving her, maybe lower in some cases.

I agree. The face is completely way off. I think it's the eyes and forehead. Not appealing in the least.

Thanks Hanky Panky. Yeah, I agree. I feel like they were trying to go for an effect that didn't work. Like what if someone was posed so they were looking out the corner of there eye at you. Just doesn't work depending on the angle.

I think the SDCC versions hair looks better but is less iconic to me. I think that's the trade-off. The short hair version looks better as a statue but looks less like Invisable Woman. Although it's still obvious who it is.
