[QUOTE=Morgul Steve;5382240]
I am going to ask Heather if I can send it back for a repaint. If not I will just ask for my money back since this is not what was advertised.
[QUOTE]
A repaint seems highly unlikely. The whole thing would have to be stripped first. Just painting over this would compound problems and you would most likely lose some detail with the extra layers. It would be time consuming and costly. If he goes for it, I'm in though.

I'm also hoping to send mine back for a better replacement. However, that seems highly unlikely...considering it is completely sold out and they probably don't have enough extras as suitable replacements.
I know I received a terrible paint job on my Mass Effect Tali statue by Gaming Heads. At first they offered a laughable compensation of $50, which is basically nothing now-a-days.
Now, they did the right thing and offered me a brand new replacement. They are doing a whole new batch to replace a lot of the bad Tali's they did. Of course, they are asking me to destroy mine when that time comes.
Keep in mind, Gaming Heads is a small company too, so I'm hoping CC will follow suit and doing something similar. If not, then I'll probably just get a full refund and move on.

If that's the case CC will have to redo at least half of the ES sold.

Not exactly sure how this happens from any company that opens the product to inspect it, then ships it out anyway. They have clear pictures of it on their January 13th Facebook post. It actually looks black in that picture.

I'm not going to defend their decision to ship out the bad endos. It's clear they chose not to-do a redo and instead offer refunds. I don't know enough about what they did and didn't do for QC to comment. Not being happy is fine. I'm not happy. But acting like this is some grand conspiracy is silly when they offer refunds.

How much of a refund will CC offer? Just the purchase price minus the shipping, a percentage of a refund due to restocking fees? The devil is in the details man. Offering refunds does not excuse CC for misleading customers.

Sorry, refunds are pretty much out of the question for anyone outside the US. The loss would be too great.
There may be no big conspiracy but its poor buisness practice bordering on shady especially 'neglecting' to mention Toynami weren't involved after 2 years. It was obviously done to stop cancellations.
