Diana was formed out of clay of the shores of Themyscira(a secret island hidden from modern civilization for centuries) by Hippolyta, who wished for a child; the clay figure was then brought to life by the Greek deities. The Gods then blessed and granted her unique powers and abilities – beauty from Aphrodite, strength from Demeter, wisdom from Athena, speed and flight from Hermes, Eyes of the Hunter and unity with beasts from Artemis and sisterhood with fire and the ability to discern the truth from Hestia. She was later made an emissary and ambassador from Themyscira by Queen Hippolyta, charged with the mission of bringing peace to the outside world. Taking on the name of Wonder Woman, she fights for justice, love, & peace. But unlike Superman or Batman, she would use lethal force if she deems necessary. Digital painting in progress. Wonder Woman breastplate rendering with colours 90% complete. After this break, I’ll work on the belt and the linings for the body suit. Don’t have flat brush heads that can tilt in PS yet. Haven’t tried the PS feature that can follow the tilt of my Wacom tablet pen. So, to create the flat like marker strokes, I’m artificially painting out the fake flat marker brush head strokes with the PS default round head brushes. Semi-realistic painting style emulation.

The progress so far. Breastplate, body suit and star spangled blue panties…..fully completed. Next legs, boots, axe, tiara & very long spear. Based on SideShow WW PF.
