I paid a small fortune at the time for my Dell'Otto Silver Surfer cover back in 2007. I'm not sure of current market values but I'm sure yours cost a pretty penny.

It really is fun to see what this section of the forum started as a few years ago to what its become today. I absolutely agree with you that sharing the art here brings about the same excitement as acquiring the art itself.

This is really the only section I go to consistently day after day. We are one big family that looks after one another and are happy when someone gets a piece, even if it was one they were going after also. I love coming on here and seeing pieces and how much they mean to the people who won them.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I didn't know there were other sections here! I'm really glad I joined this forum. I love seeing all of the wonderful stuff you guys post. Most of which I am envious of! The piece from the OP is a fine example.

Amazing artwork! Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember seeing this piece being offered up for auction with a TBA date. I followed it for sometime but lost track and forgot all about it. Either way, amazing acquisition. Congrats!

It's a great place to share thoughts, meet other art collectors, as well as see fabulous artwork.
It's especially awesome reading comments months, sometimes even years later after they were posted.
