Nova and The New Champions by Alex Garcia
Alex Garcia is an incredible artist. One can see the huge influence George Perez is to him in his style of work. This commission features Nova and his(late)friends,Powerhouse,Diamondhead(generally a foe),The Comet and Crimebuster. Marvel must have had regrets cancelling the original Champions as they were quick to re-name this group as The "New" Champions. I really like how Alex used The Sphinx in the background. Thanks guys! Seeing this finished piece blew me away. As did the the turn around time. Less than three weeks. Definitely one of the highlights of my Nova gallery.
