WOW ROYD! WOW!
The Kubert is a hallmark to be sure.
The Immonen Iron Men is one of his best. To own that one (and as a gift) is amazing.

Wow, Royd. Do all your friends give $1000 gifts? I'm sure that's around what Stuart's dealer would sell it for.
I'm more jealous that it's an AC/DC litho. I thought the Thunderstruck song was a good match with Iron Man 2.

I have always been fascinated looking at the 1960s Neal Adams superhero comic covers and the Joe Kubert war comic covers. I usually find myself flipping through the comic bins at conventions looking at these treasures.
I am overcome with envy looking at the Joe Kubert sketch in the hardcover. This is the kind of stuff that I am very interested in . I don't have anything like
this in my collection.
I was hesitant in making contact with with you, believing that the cost of this Joe Kubert book would be out of my price range.
Good thing for me that I did contact you. This limited edition book is not $1000. I have sent a message to someone associated with Joe Kubert in regards to my desire to obtaining this special book.
My chances are probably slim since the book is limited to 100 editions.

Hey ll68 - I think your chances are good because Joe was only up to #60 or so with the first 100 copies of his "How To Draw from Life" hardcover (with slipcase).
I look forward to eventually seeing your sketch Best,
Royd

Thanks for all your comments gents, always great to know that others appreciate these pieces
By the way, if people are interested in viewing photos from Supanova Perth 2010 and checking out the guests, I've uploaded photos to my CAF page - http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryR...e=1&GSub=99813
And, in case anyone's wondering why there are so many photos of a gorgeous young lady named Isobel, she's my daughter

I made the order this morning. Really hoping that the sketch Joe Kubert draws for me is as good as the one featured here. This will be my "go to" book when I want to show off my book collection.
