Wii replacement straps
Nintendo has been quick to jump on the problem of the flying Wii remotes. They are providing new, stronger replacement straps. If you own a Wii and want the new straps fill out this form: Wii Replacement Straps. You will need to include the serial number from your Wii and you can ask for up to 4 new straps.

Thanks for the headsup. Found out about this yesterday, but hadn't searched out the form yet.

Haha nice!
Yeah I had put in my order already, but they're only slightly "girthier" in the threads but whatever as long as they'll hold. I haven't had much problem even when my hands get a bit moist.

I got one of those covers for the controller, figured that would help some too. Have heard of others reporting improvement with them, but I haven't tried them yet.

Got an email that they are processing now. Looks like they are on time with their projected time table.
