Best glue for statue repairs?

I have a statue from Sideshow which has a clean break right through it and will need to fix it.

I have never attempted to fix my own statues, but this seems easily repairable..can anyone suggest what the best glue is which is strong and lasting for fixing broken statues?

Appreciate any advice. thanks!

I like two part epoxy glue because it dries clear and any excess can be quickly wipe clean, but others swears by Krazy Glue. I would suggest that you test it out on something else first to see the properties of the glue that you want to use. Krazy Glue might not dry clear like two part epoxy glue, which will mean paint touch up also.

May be he had a severe butt itch that scratching it over the pants just would not do that he needs to dug deep and have a straight skin/finger nail to skin contact for relieve. With super glue all over his fingers..... and I am sure you can fill in the blanks.

I always find superglue to be too brittle depending on the weight the part you are gluing will be, but can be fine for smaller parts that won't be disturbed. 2 part epoxy is usually the way to go for a hard-core bonding.

if it broke once, it is gonna break again. My advice is Zap CA and pin it if possible. that way the joint will be a bit stronger and wont be prone to break again.
