When packaged with the sets, considered to be part of them.
But minimates and Mega Bloks are both releasing figures outside of a set. In fact the Mega BLoks are blind packaged just like the Lego minifigures

i don't know, man. just relaying what i heard. maybe the guy didn't know what he was talking about. he did however confirm the Simpsons minifigs the day before it was publicly announced. oooooohhhhhh, shame shame!

did get the $75+ MM giveaway too. we have already split up the minifigs. i get Lisa (my first choice) and Marge, Asher gets Flanders and Bart, and Wyatt gets Homer and Maggie. i tried to trade Marge for Maggie, but, Wyatt is a tough customer for being 9.

Was thinking about going that route as well, but noticed yesterday most sellers were from Asia. Hope it's not a knock-off.

Dang, talked to a guy at Marvel on Friday and as of right now, there are no plans to do a wave of Marvel mini-figures. Mini-figures are to help drive sales of the sets so no go on releasing them single. I did mention to him that putting B-level characters in a wave would still see great especially for those characters who would probably never see a set.

Is the Hulk actually different? I haven't gotten it yet since I thought it was the same Hulk figure exactly. I just bid on a MODOK loose figure on eBay. Well I only bid 99 cents so I am sure I will be outbid.
