Tweeterhead - Tygra- ThunderCats 1/5 Maquette

This Tygra design (much like Lion-O) was also teased back in August 2023 and was shared in the Panthro thread.

The portrait looks good. After the color rendition I hope to see it match the cartoon look even further.

I know these are all rough concept designs, but I hope they change the pose a little. The single leg touching the base pose almost gives it a ballerina stance.

He is in mid transformation or about to attack, so I understand it's an "in motion" pose, still I hope Tweeterhead considers putting both legs down even if only one is touching the base. But it's not a deal breaker.

portrait looks great - pose is ok, i think i would prefer both feet be planted but will reserve judgment until the full reveal

Yea, I don't like that one leg up pose that much. Would also prefer both feet on the ground for Tygra.

Just as an aside, due to Tweeterhead's interest I looked up Thundercats statues this weekend. Came across Iron Studios Tygra and was really taken with their portrait.
They got the width of his face right which many sculptors miss on characters like this.

I can't think of a single thing wrong with the IS pieces other than their size, which is simply personal preference, of course.

I really wish more companies would look into doing scale options of the same sculpt especially when they have a winner.

i liked most of the IS thundercats pieces except for the original lion-o but theyre latest one looks decent i had the mutants on order at one point but backed out because i knew i would be underwhelmed by the scale in person. a real shame as they are beautiful statues, really looking forward to seeing some villains in this line from TH

Have you quit for good, or is there one particular statue that could potentially cause you to come off the sidelines?
