They have very responsive and helpful customer service, from all the examples I remember.

Weta customer service is fantastic! I ordered the Escape off the Road statue from another retailer, but they were quick to respond to my request. The request was to send out some pads that fit on the bottom of the base; some were missing which caused the statue to wobble a bit.

I guess my concern is that the statue is complicated and risk of problems appears high. I'd be buying direct from Weta NZ and if it arrives damaged, I don't see a simple path forward.

Well, as we said if anything is wrong they will work to fix any issue. Not sure what else you want to know.

This is such a beautiful piece. I don't know much about LotR, but I want to revisit the movies solely because of this statue. Congratulations to anyone who acquires a copy.
