Congrats! It's a fantastic piece, but I just wanted to address some issues on the base that I thought were sub par.

By no means am I trying to steer people away from this piece. Very happy to have it in the collection.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I have no issue with the base. the lines you mentioned looks like energy effect of the danger room.more like sparkling enrgy because both bases are being destroyed.. the green and black clearly depicts the simulation purpose of the danger room's primary function.

I spent the last day looking at both bases and that was the conclusion I came to as well which makes sense considering that the base is in mid explosion, where is Rogue is ripping out the piece out of the ground which would be a slower process so the energy beams from the simulation have not come full force like Gambits base. Other way to look at it is the grid to the danger room (like your VR boundry when you get to close to the edge of your play area).

Finally received my shipping notice today for Gambit

I'm in NY tho so CA to NY says won't be here till next Wednesday 9/23/20, and that's if no issues with travel times. I feel like the past few statues I purchased, they said delivery on a certain day, but for whatever reason it always has a "delay" the day before, and pushes back the delivery by a day. So maybe next Wednesday, or probably Thursday lol.

Excited to get this finally and get him with the rest of the team in my case.

Nice! Ironically, mine is going to be supposedly delivered on the same day. I am in Illinois, we shall see lol. It is my birthday on the 23rd would be nice....

Mine is arriving in PA on Wednesday. I usually have space reserved for incoming pieces but not sure where he is going. I mostly use stuvas with glass doors and that leaves 19" depth. Gambit I believe is 24" deep looking straight ahead.
