I got tired of waiting and bought the Yamato Batman statue just got it on Friday. I have some extra cash put away for the Tweethead Batman anyway.

If you're expecting it to ship because of their Q1 2018 date, you're going to be disappointed. Supergirl and Mxyzptlk haven't shipped yet and they were originally supposed to ship in December. Mxyzptlk still has the December date on his listing.
Not that it bothers me at this point - outside of some DC stuff, I probably wouldn't need one hand to count the number of times a statue shipped by it's originally estimated ship date.

The last thing that was said was that it was in production and would be coming out "shortly" after Supergirl (which was estimated as shipping the first week of April at that time).

this - don't check the updates too much anymore but weren't we promised Batman prior to 2018?

From the last live feed, Chad said Bats will be shown around batman day which is May 1.
