Anyone Know what Tommy Castillo Charges for Con Commissions? Winnipeg Comic Con is around the corner and I've already got pre-done pieces set up with Michael Golden, Mark Texeira, and Joe Jusko (even though he wont be there, his reps bringing his) and I want to set up one more piece. Thanks

Sounds like you will be handing a nice wad of cash to Renee! Can’t wait to see your haul … rates for these artists would be cool to know as well. I have an idea in my head for Joe I have been meaning to look into.

The rates for Golden, Tex, and Jusko are:

250 full figure/ 350 inked
175 torso/ 225 inked
125 head/ 175 inked

These are for the pre-done pieces, I'm not sure exactly how they vary in quality from the ones done at the convention but I believe the ones done at the show are $250 - Full Figure Inked for Golden and $200 for Jusko.

Yessir, 2 of the 3 are, would've probably done all 3 but I really wanted a Tex Sabretooth! I've got a long ways to go to get to the awesomeness of your Punisher collection

I hope your pre-done are pieces are actually pre-done. I paid for Tex three months before NYCC last year and had to wait for him to show up before he started it at the Con.

Texeira was 300 for a full figure for a convention "commission" at NYCC last year.

I love the guy's work, but be sure you want his commission; that's all I'm saying.

Renee made it sound like the pieces are already done, so I hope that they are, although I like to see the creative process, but if pre-done means higher quality I prefer that

Regarding Tex, I got my brother a headshot of Ghost Rider from Tex at the Heroes Con. The cost was $125 (which I was able to get down to $100 because that was what I had in my pocket) and honestly, it was worth every penny. The headshot was actually more like a bust shot than a head (head and some shoulder) and the art was every bit what I expected from Tex and then some. The art covered the entire page (either 11x14 or 11x17, I really don't remember as I haven't seen it since the HeroesCon).
