I was able to remove it from 3 of the edges, but the one edge is straight up glued on. What a let down after having to wait 12 weeks for this thing to get through shipping.

I emailed P1 so we will see what they say...this is unacceptable for a statue of this price. I'm just throwing it straight back into the box for now. Sad day.

Edit: I also did not even receive the bonus version velociraptor resonating chamber!! I didn't even realize it with the other statue issues! What the heck is going on, P1??

You have to play around with it and use a blower. Happened to me to an many others!!

Mine arrived the same way. It seems like it’s a good 1/4 inch off. Did you warm up both legs with a hair dryer? I’m afraid to apply too much brute force.

I am definitely not going to use a hairdryer. I didn’t pay $1,700 for a statue that requires reshaping with a hairdryer in order to put together. That is absolutely unacceptable. And what about all the glue on the bottom?? The tissue paper arrived glued to the statue.

I will wait to see how P1 responds. What a joke. I am very nervous about Sauron now.

Agreed. I will be reaching out to prime 1 too since the hairdryer method isn’t working. One of my magnet leaves arrived broken in 3 pieces too.

2 of my leaves are totally bent in half as well! I couldn't even put them back into the normal position without there being huge creases.

Im pretty sure the fact that it was in a create for 3 months taking heat, bended the resin.

I was honestly thinking the same thing. Sitting in an oven for 3 months may have warped the model. There’s a reason some of you were able to bend it back into place by heating it up again. Some of them clearly have more extreme damage than others though. I’ll let you all know what P1 says about it.

My Blue piece had the same issues, but over time the foot has settled into the base without having to use the hairdryer. Gravity is your friend.
I understand you feel you shouldn't have to use a hairdryer, funny thing is I just received my ECC Mohawk statue and in the box was instructions and an image of a hairdryer to use on the spikes if it doesn't sit flush in his back. Luckily I had no issues and everything fits perfectly.
I agree these fitment issues is more a transporting issue and how long they sit in shipping containers or docks before they arrive in our houses, which is why results are varied.
I wouldn't stress too much, it all seems fixable as demonstrated above.
