Wonder Woman 3 in limbo

James Gunn is now running the DC movies and trying to get it all aligned and cohesive.

What does this mean for Wonder Woman 3?

Hard to say.

Could mean Gunn looked at Jenkins script and said "No" or "Try Again".

Could mean it is scrapped entirely and new writer/director will do it.

Could mean a reboot completely and Gadot is out as well.

I have mixed emotions here. I loved Wonder Woman 1 and hated Wonder Woman 2 (1984), but I always thought Gadot was great in the role. That isn't to say someone else couldn't pull it off and be a great Diana.

My biggest concern is we could be going a long time while they figure it out and puts a lot of pressure to get it right under Gunn.

Meh. I like Gadot, but both WW films were weak. I'm barely paying attention to any DC news until they get all their ---- sorted out. Speculation is rampant at this point. They've made such a mess of their movies that I honestly can't get myself to care until I hear something solid for the future.

She was great in the Orville as well, but my guess if they do recast they'll go for a relative unknown in their mid to late 20s to lock in and be available for next 10 years or so for Wonder Woman or cameos.

I was just being factitious. And I like looking at that picture. I would imagine they would go with someone younger if they do replace Gadot.

I saw Adrianne in public once (I didn't bother her) and she could easily fill in some other Amazon role.

i think its the right call, clear the deck and start fresh. the fanbase is too divided to pick and choose what theyre going to keep and what theyre not. i do hope matt reeves' the batman franchise can continue on as its on entity though kind of like a "black label" universe

I think the DC movies just needs to be Batman centered. Do Gotham by Gaslight, Death in the Family, Doom that Came to Gotham, and other cool Bat-stories. If they want other characters they can be in a Brave and the Bold movie with Bats.

…..and also some Cavill Superman movies.

It might be time to start fresh
Let's still see Aquaman 2, Flash and Shazam 2 but it might be time for a reset I still have not see The Batman but maybe that might be a good starting point like others have said.
