You can buy most of these custom heads unpainted at a cheaper price and then send it to any painter you want. Granted the best painters aren't cheap but their work speaks for itself.

Ah I thought Wanderlai was talking about the head of troy xD tbh even if there was an unpainted option I would not take that over painted but thats just me

Any custom head I've ever bought or had interest in had a painted and an unpainted price option. This Phoenix head was no different. I've reached out to James TCE one of the rue masters to see what he'd charge to paint the Phoenix head.

Actually....from what I can see, I prefer Mule's
custom....especially the one without the pupils......
don't get me wrong...both look great

Mabey there is I dont know but it will be more expensive in the long run and to take the unpainted one before even seeing the master paint in two weekend not so smart, I for one have trust in the paintjob cant wait too see it xD
