DC Collectibles put up a video showing off the first ever Nightwing Batman B&W statue but of course it has to be done on artwork by Jim Lee. Seriously... how many JL items are DC Collectibles gonna release?! Talk about an abuse of power!
This should have been a George Perez or Scott McDaniel release. McDaniel has not had a B&W release yet & Perez co-created the character!! This will be my first JL B&W, only because Nightwing is my fave DC character

Jim Lee is one of the most popular artists of the modern comic era. I'd be more surprised if the first interpretation of a given character wasn't based on his art
If it sells, more will come

No, he's the Co-Publisher of DC Comics. We already have his version of Nightwing with the Koto Artfx+ Statue

Yes very good. He's co-publisher AND one of the most popular artists of the modern era.
Nightwing fans are getting a Nightwing. Think you'd be happy with that fact instead of whining about artist choice. This could have been another elseworld Batman on rollerblades or something stupid that no one asked for...

I'm sure we will see a Perez Nightwing at some point. Look at how many Harley Quinn B&W have come out. We have had two Robins so far. Just give them time. I really don't see the B&W line going away anytime soon.

Two? And that is because HArley is DC's Wolverine/Punisher: Just overflowing the market with comics/merch to the point where it is beyond ridiculous & the people who used to like the character are turned off & become sick of them

Lol; I literally just sold off my last non-Batmen in the line, (got a mint for the Penguin to boot). I too am in a circumstance where I would LOVE to get Nightwing - holding out hope that the do a 1/6 full color version ala Batgirl.

Well I don't know about 1/6th but you could always buy this and have something done to it, like so...

Still a small piece even in full color. I have McDaniel Nightwing statue from DCD that is kind of that scale so I am not overly inclined to add another small Nightwing. That mock up looks great but I maintain my hope they go the Batgirl route with it.
