Help a n00b buy a comic
Hi all
I've been following the controversy over Milo Manara's upcoming Spider-Woman variant cover and I'm really hoping to pick up a copy or two upon its release in mid November. I see that it's listed in a few places on eBay for around $150 and I was just wondering if you guys thought that was my only option or if I'd be able to just stroll in a LCS on release day and pick one up at MSRP. Any buying advice would be greatly appreciated.

It got cancelled for November and delayed to a later unspecified date due to the controversy (even though marvel denies they caved for that reason).
Don't pay for anything via eBay as you'll never see it in your hands

Oh wow, I knew that Manara lost some future assignments but I had no idea this one was getting pushed back. I hope it gets released eventually. Thanks for the reply.

No, the Spider-Woman cover is still shipping as planned. It's just the unrevealed Thor and AXIS variant covers that have been canceled. Marvel says it's because of scheduling conflicts.

Any advice on how to pick up a copy? Should I be thinking about the $150ish offers on eBay or are those just scams?

Oh thought it was everything. Oh well...personally I don't even think it's a good image (aside from the T&A). Just a really awkward drawing IMO.
