ouch..that is pretty pricey for an unpainted kit. The sculpt is nothing short of fabulous though.

Almost the price of their 1/6 kits multiply by 3
And for the painted version it will be like what ? 800-900 for 1/4 ? It sounds like 1/3 price...

Dunno, an extra 200-300$ sounds very low for a 1:4 paint up. By what Erick said about this piece, he wanted to go for best quality paint, done in house by professional painters. I wouldn't expect the painted version to be any less of 1000$.

Hi Erick, I'm wondering what style you would use for a 1/4 Akuma and Sagat if you do them?

No doubt the 99 ES factors into the price.

Fewer units means production cost gets spread over fewer buyers.

It was to my knowledge the pre-painted version was being done off-shore in China. Sosa will pay the factory more than others and they will in-turn, deliver a better quality result. So rather than customers paying $1000+ for their painted Ryu, it'll be $600 (just a wild guess).

Why would he make 99 of them instead of make each one per order locally? It'd be foolish because you could potentially be stuck with unsold castings you paid out of pocket. But I guess these are no longer made in America but China and they operate with bulk. Anyway, too steep for me.

Wow $600 for a 1/4 resin kit!
If these kits are being molded and cast in china, I think $600 is a ridiculous price..

Sorry Eric, love your work and I was so down for this kit but it's just too much money..

I would go as high as $400 and I think that's top dollar.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
