Thanks gents . . . I think I like cage best also (but he needs to sit a bit higher so might have to put a false bottom in it). Would love to get a second one for the dome, but they don't seem to come up very often now.

Just saw this. LOL - I love the caged version. Sprinkle teeth 'round the bottom of the cage (not quite sure where you can get teeth).

Love it Nick. Both display options are cool. I'd probably opt for the glass dome most of the time as not to obscure the piece itself but there is no denying how much the cage compliments the piece.

Both look great, but knowing me I would not be able to decide which one I like better so would buy 2 tooth fairys for each display option ! lol

Thanks . . . the teeth would be a great idea (have to try to find a local dentist with some spares LOL)

Thanks Scott. That was the one downside with the cage . . . it does obscure him quite a bit. They had another that was a much more traditional bird cage which would make it much easier to see him, but didn't have the same gothic look.

Thanks Alex. I'd love to get another but they are quite hard to track down now . . . besides, I have a cunning plan

The cage is cool, but I will go with the Glass dome..
First of all finding a perfectly fitted glass dome for it was just a nice find..
The cage for me tends to block the Tooth Fairy

The glass dome I got from a homewares store here in Sydney that my wife dragged me into. They had a few sizes (that one being the smallest), but it was a perfect fit. Not sure if they have a website and / or ship OS but happy to look into it for you.

Had to sedate him first . . . little b@stard almost took my finger off . . . but seriously, the cage has a 'trap door' base that swings open. Was a bit tricky to get him and close the door, but it locks securely and is actually pretty sturdy.
