Ditto. When I picture Conan, this is what I see. Well, this or John Buscema's version.

The plaque does say "1:6 scale figure" but i can't see any joints, even if it is a figure, i'll just put it in this identical pose and have it as a statue, as others have said this is my ideal vision of what Conan looks like.
Also Fall 2020 so a bit of a wait yet, hopefully PO is soon at least.

I really love this but still haven’t been able to figure out exactly what it is. It doesn’t look articulated but is it PVC? I just don’t understand the statue vs figure label.

Spoke to Mezco, it's definitely going to be a statue DGK.
The portrait reminds me of the prize but more brutal! Looking forward to getting this. I hope Mezco puts out a good product.

What’s it made of wolf? Is it plastic?

Once he said it was a statue I didn't think to ask that.
I'll call back Monday and ask. It would be a deal breaker if it isn't poly or porcelaine.

"Figure" means exactly that: "figure". A statue is a figure. A mannequin is a figure. A rigid doll is a figure. And if it has articulations it's... an articulated figure.
Admittedly, it's a rather unusual way to label a statue*, so I can understand some of you having your doubts - even though action figures can hardly stand like that. But I already said it's a statue, guys. ;-)
* Perhaps Mezco aren't just used to it. The fact it's called a figure, though, as well as that seam, which may or may not be final, makes me think this could very well be PVC, which is after all what they're most familiar with.
