I used to be. A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away . . . . Why, what's up?

Back in the day, sure. If we're talking degree level, then nope, but below that I'm probably still good.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Hi, Danny.
I'm currently tutoring my sister in math/algebra/geometry for the GRE. Let me know if you need anything. What level algebra/math do you need?

Ok, myself, I was also a math whiz. EE at Auburn, got a 780 on my math SAT. But, my memory retention is a bit questionable. My girl, Caro, is taking college Algebra. I did her quiz last week and got a 96%. Funny enough, the mistake I made was adding two basic whole numbers. Well, funny for me, not her.
Anyways, she has to turn in some work today. 2 different assignments. If you noticed the time of my post, I had not gone to bed yet. I was working on my business (not Comic Statues) and at about 5 am I realized that I had promised Caro that I would do her assignments if she listed some stuff for me on ebay. She kept her side of the bargain and now I have to keep mine. I looked over the stuff and it seemed simple enough. I kicked the last assignments ass. Well, some of this stuff, I haven't seen in 20 years. I don't want to screw it up.
So, if anyone can really help me do these problems, I'll trade work for busts. Now, please don't squeeze me on the busts. Like, I want your Bowen Doc Savage bust. I have some items that I have plenty of inventory of. Koto vinyls, GG busts, Bowen busts, Transformers AP busts... I figured this would take about an hour or two (depending on how much you know or remember). If anyone can take the challenge, I'll give you 2 busts for the time. Hope it sounds fair to whomever is a wiz.
Here are a sample of the questions. I did one of them. It's mostly word problems and some are done by using linear equations: NOTE: show all work
1. (10 points)
A furniture company sells 3000 chairs per week at a price of $150 apiece; when the price is lowered to $125, the company sells 3500 chairs per week. If the company wishes to liquidate its entire remaining inventory of 4250 chairs in the next week, what price should they seek?
2. (10 points)
Find the perimeter of a rectangle if three of its corners are (2.5,1.7), (2.5,-3.2), and (-0.7,-3.2).
3. (10 points)
Find an equation in slope-intercept form passing through the points (7.2,3.8) and (9.1,9.1).
Answer:
x1=7.2 x2=9.1 y1=3.8 y2=9.1
m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
m= (9.1- 3.8)/(9.1- 7.2)
m= 5.3/1.9
y=mx+ b
9.1= 5.3/1.9*9.1 + b
17.29= 48.23 + 1.9b
-30.94= 1.9b
b= -30.94/1.9
y=(5.3/1.9)x + b
4. (10 points)
Lily buys a $425 TV and pays $31.88 in tax. If she also buys a $200 DVD recorder, how much additional tax will she pay?

1 & 4 seem like your basic math problems. I'll give them a shot.
