The End of Pablo (post 1050)
After the personal agony that was last night, I considered withdrawing to my cave or dashing off to the wilderness and leaving SF or at least just lurking...
It was wonderful breaking bread with so many believers, but how quickly things can turn ugly...
A crowd of expectant friends and followers becomes an angry mob...
SF centurions blocking my path to the miracle that was denied...
I've got broad shoulders and I can take it...
I will stand before the crowds and take full responsibility for the Pablo 1,000 Thread...
My disciples distance themselves, betray and deny me...
Nail me with your criticism, pierce me with your insults, crown me with your thorny witicisms...
I will take the heat, I will take the fall, I will give myself up, I will breathe my last...
To the few who keep the faith, take my battered and bruised body and lay me gently my cocoon...
I WILL RISE AGAIN...
