5'3'' tall, equals 15 3/4 inches in quarter scale
5'3'' tall, equals 21 inches in 1/3rd scale

So he's lunging forward, which reduces height, but he's on a Sentinels hand which appears to compensate for the lunge. I basically thought I was getting a 1/3 scale Wolverine. What a bummer!

When I saw him at NYCC I think it had the older base without the rocks and there was no way it was even close to 20". My assumption was the base added to the height but that didn't seem right either being the base really just changed the angle and didn't look like it effected the height to much.

One thing I will say is not for a second did it look like a 1/3 scale piece. As far as I know all Premium Format Figures are quarter scale. Granted not everyone knows that and there have been scale issues in the past but I didn't want a 1/3 scale piece, I wanted what I knew it was. I'm sure they will give back NRDs to anyone who wants to cancel over the mistake.

I haven't bought anything in months and as soon as I order something it get's mired in controversy.

Collectors who don't own a 1/3 statue may be surprised at how much bigger the statue is compared to 1/4. It is not only the height but the volume. I have my P1 1/3 AK Harley next to 1/4 Aquaman and it surprised me how puny Aquaman looks next to it.

So no way this PF was 1/3. Plus, SS doesn't do 1/3.

Hence the line title “ Legendary Scale “ get over it folks it’s a perfect 1/4 scale at 15.5”. I’m still buying it

I agree about Wolvie is 1/4 and it's fine with this 15,5''. Great sculp overall. But i disagree that Sideshow doesn't make 1/3 scale figures. That's it.

So I was just watching the old sideshow live segment where they debuted this beast and I noticed he's tipped sideways. Have sideshow ever addressed this in any way? I'm hoping because it was the prototype, they were still working out some kinks with the base.
