It did to me from the angle of the first pic. Well, more like an extreme smirk.
It all just goes to show the importance of having shots from different angles.

Another amazing statue, Jerry! I think his face is perfect and I can't wait for Thursday.

I just worry about an even lower edition size for the exclusive, though. Ken is such a popular character and the others have become so sought after and so pricey on the secondary market, those of us who really want the statue for our collection are going to have to compete with the flippers who just want to make a buck at the expense of the true collector.

Its been over 6 months since my last statue went up for pre-order and that was before the big drops in the stock markets/economy.

Ive heard that in those last 6 months the market has changed and everyone is decreasing their edition sizes.

Ive heard sales are okay but not nearly as strong as they have been last few years.

So I want to make sure that A) my statues continue to sell out and B) lowering the ES increases desirability over the long run.

The other reason for the low EX ES is because its just a head change. All my previous statues had something far more drastic and desirable about them.

We'll see how it goes

Well, I have cancelled other statues recently, so I understand your point, but I would sell pencils on street corners to continue getting your Street Fighter and Dark Stalker statues.

I may have to sell something besides pencils if you produce the bronzes...

Im going to do a bronze. I have the rights.

I just dont know yet if I want to do a bust or a full figure. I would only do one this year...just to see the reaction. And they would be limited to 10-20 pcs.

I really hope you will do a full figure bronze statue (there's something about getting part of a person in a bust that just doesn't appeal to me, no offense to the bust collectors) but it may need to be 1/6th scale to be affordable.

I believe Moore's bronzes are 1/6th scale and they are around $2900.00. I wonder what the price point of 1/4 scale would be so you didn't have to re-sculpt an existing statue, if you were going that route.

It wouldnt be 1/4 scale...it would be 1/6 scale and priced similarly to Moores.

I prefer the regular edition, but will happily get the exclusive. Awesome piece Jerry!
