Anybody buying or interested in the Frazetta silver coins, silver chess pieces, or small silver figures (I think just a few inches tall)?

That's what held me up as well. Still I did consider them though, because they are made of silver and silver of course can go up in value so over time they may reach a spot value closer to the cost.

The small 4" statues are $324 for 6 oz. Spot price for silver today is just over $20 per oz so silver invilved is about $120 leaving $204 or so for the small statue. Historical high value of silver is just over $43. At that price it would be $258 worth of silver and only $66 for the statue cost.

That said I buy gold and silver from time to time as investments and you would be WAY better off buying either plain silver rounds or silver bars. For the same money if you bought $324 worth of silver bars today and it went back up to historical high it would be worth around $697 for a profit of $372 rather than just having a reasonable priced statue.

I thought about buying some of the cheaper coins I see on ebay. Not an investment for me so I would be happy with the copper ones or whatever the cheaper ones are. Just kind of cool to have.

Nice Wombat! I picked up a 1 oz. silver coin about a month ago for only like $30...already have a coin stand for it. Now the long wait for the ARH DD1 statue.

Is the detail and likeness really cool in person or is it kind of smoothed out bland? They look great and especially at the copper price I may be tempted.
