The sideshow piece looks great in proto pics, but production the MM is way too puffy. Great face otherwise but the MM was not great on it. Wasn't as terrible a turnout as the old Asajj but still pretty bad :|

As much as I like the pose on the previous SS PF, I love that this is sculpted. This might just tempt me to PO. I'm a sucker for anything Maul.

Anyone know who sculpted the IS 1/4 Maul?

This is $799 on SpecFiction which doesn't charge for shipping in continental US or tax outside of the Northeast. That makes it only about 10-12% higher (in high sales tax states) than the all-in price for the SSC Mythos Maul at 1/4 scale, compared to 1/5 for Mythos. Would definitely have pounced on the PO it if I had space and if I wasn't ready to move beyond statue collecting phase of my life.

I’m really debating on ordering this..I have so much coming in the next year, and it’s all going into storage right now until I move. But he looks really well done, and I sold my Maul PF a while back, so he is missing in my collection.

Just noticed this, and I'm very tempted. However, the hooded portrait has a neck seam that doesn't look great in the IS official reveal video, and the shoulder seams are bit large as well. The neck seam doesn't look bad on Sidshow's pics. I might need to wait for in-hand pics to decide. I don't want it to sell out before then, but there's also no ES listed.

Prototypes often have bad seams that get fixed, but if you can sure wait and see.

That's cool. I messaged Iron Studios about it on their FB page a few days back, no response, but can't say I was expecting one anyhow.
