Finished the 10 episodes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina last night. - 8/10

The last 2 eps. of this 1st season were very good. This show really set the tone for Halloween in my house. Even the ole' ball-&-chain enjoyed it!

The haunting of hill house 5/10. Last episode ruined it. Meh.

Daredevil s3 - 10/10

just finished ep. 9 so not even all the way through but its been incredibly enjoyable so far, i cant believe how much fun this show is

The Deuce - Season 2

One of HBO's best series in my opinion. I'm looking forward to how New York City and the cast change for the third and final season next year set in the eighties. 9/10

Does the Sabrina show follow the recent comic book series? I gave it a 8/10 was more enjoyable than I was thinking it was going to be.

Kind of. The comic is much, much darker. The common ground between the two is in the basics. Sabrina's 18the B-day & what that means, the 2 aunts, Madam Satan & her involvement in Sabrina's high-school life, satanic worship, & her parents being dead, the hanging tree, covens, rules, coming back from the dead "changed" etc...

That being said, the book really celebrates the horror of being a teenaged witch. Harvey really becomes a focal point for the horror. There's no secret "Harry Potter-esque" secret witch high-school. It takes place in the 60's. Riverdale & a few members of Archie's gang become involved, etc...

The book is really great & has gone 8 issues. Try & find them or buy the trade. You won't be sorry.

House of Cards S6-4/10 This show should have finished a couple of seasons ago at its peak. Awful unsatisfying ending to what was once a great political drama.
