I like grant morrison allot. Yet, I do not understand what the huge deal is with everything looking so modern. I thought the coolest thing about these heroes is that they had the tights and dressed up in colorful costumes.
I can just go read indie comics if I want modern looking heroes with the same powers as ones displayed in the DCU. Oh well, I am probably a minority in this thought but I really hope I won't be seeing Batman's new costume as combat boots, skinny jeans and the dark Tobey Mcguire haircut given in spiderman 3.

That looks idiotic. Half a costume.

Why don't they give him a chain wallet while they're at it? Looks ridiculous.

Wont he be wearing this costume in just a few issues of Action or will the entire run of Action be about his early days? Seeing as how we've seen his actual new costume in the JLA pics.

People still hire Grant Morrison? The last half decent thing he wrote was Animal Man. He must be one of the most overrated comic writers of all time. His run on X-Men and Superman were among the worst comics I ever read in 30+ years.
