That's good to know Sharkey, thanks! I read a bunch of stuff from the big two, but sometimes I need some palate cleansers and I usually turn to newish things at Image for that. I'm a little behind obviously but I like to get a feel for stuff rather than simply rely on reviews. So I appreciate everyone's input and it seems I'm on the right track with some of these books. So I'll hit you up for info if I need it. If you feel like anything is missing from the books being mentioned let me know. I'll have to check out East of West, too much being written about it everywhere.

While not an Image book, American Vampire, by Vertigo, is a must read. It has been one of my favorites of the past couple years.

I like Vertigo stuff too, and AV is also on my radar. I do read Snyder's Batman so that has piqued my interest for AV. Now I just need to find time to read all of these!

Yea, pretty much everything that Snyder, Millar, Brubaker, and Kirkman put out I grab, as their work is superb.

Velvet is just a beautiful book and the story is a solid spy mystery.
I enjoy East of West also with all of its techno-mystical-alternative history craziness.

I'll most likely pick up The Wicked + The Divine as a trade at some point. I liked the creators' work on Phonogram in the past.
One Image title I love right now is B*tch Planet. Everyone should read that.
