The plastic, articulated head was my only gripe with the PF in that respect. I don't have any bias against plastic elements in statues if they are what's necessary to achieve the most dynamic or accurate look, such is the case with more realistic portraits Blitzway gives us using a PVC blend. However Hot Toys' plastic Vader helmets crush Sideshow's attempts every time (I own the old SSC Episode IV figure and apologized for it for a long time. It didn't age well and I don't think either PF will either compared to IS's.) so I don't see any excuse for cheapening the feel of the PF for what it achieved aesthetically.

I was really wanting to wait for in-hand observations and pictures but I don't want to risk missing this one so...ORDERED.
I have never ordered an Iron Studios piece before so I'm hoping that the production pieces come out great this time around.

According to the SSC rep I spoke, this piece should be released this month!  (They hadn't heard of any delays and did not expect any to pop up) Hopefully it will be as good as we think and Iron Studios can ake amends with this piece after their Spiderman.
