Instead I've been collecting the 1/6 resin Diamond Select Premier figures lately. Picked up the 1/6 green goblin statue this month for $120 (same price as Luke) and he is AWESOME.

No doubt. I feel like they start out high and see who really wants to pay that price, then things even out as the prices drop. If you look at their releases over the last year across the board, almost nothing has held their original MSRP. I love the Star Wars artfx+ line, but there is no way in hell I am paying over $100 for a snap together plastic figure on a cheap black base.
I have picked up quite a few pieces over the last year on Amazon since that is where the most significant price drops have occurred. Movie Gamora for $14, Dr. Strange $48, Thanos $46. I have picked up over 10 pieces this past year and probably averaged paying 50% less just for being patient. I am hoping Luke and Anakin drop to the $80-$85 range. I won't pay much more than that.

Glad to see this line is coming back. Wish we could see some new characters like Beast, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Jean, etc. to pair with the others. Price point is very high for this scale. Might have to sit this one out.

Great buys. Honestly Kotobukiya turned me off when they brought out the insanely expensive Marvel Premiere line and practically stopped with Star Wars. Glad Dan is back, because the past 18 months at Koto have been awful. Unfortunately the price on these X-Men statues are too high for me. Sigh.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

For years people call these 1/6 but they are dead wrong. They are a little taller than 1/7, but way too small to be 1/6. Keep telling a lie and people will start believing it. They are pretty much 1/7 scale. Compare to a hot toys which are true 1/6 scale for reference.
