I'd keep it if the statue is stable. As far as QC issues go, it could be worse; the hand could be digging too much into the base and get scraped. Or you could have a scratched-up dome, as before. Those seem much more serious than a little hovering.

Yeah, you're right. My biggest worry were the domes but they're pretty flawless as far as I could tell. The hand was initially at least half a cm floating; I managed to get it down to about 3 mm but don't think it can go any further

It may settle in all the way given a little time--especially if it's that close.

Honestly ... it looks better to have a slightly raised hand.

You have a 1-of-a-kind variant.

I honestly don’t know how these haven’t sold out yet. The Mameygoryi is on a waitlist, but this isn’t?

The only hesitance for me was the size of the base. It presents a challenge to display it. If UPS hadn't come so late with my display shelf parts last night I would've been able to unbox the Dog last night.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Was supposed to be delivered Tuesday. Took off work. Nothing. Was supposed to be delivered Wednesday. Had the day off anyway. Nothing. Was supposed to be delivered Thursday. Went out for 2 hours, came back and there was a UPS note on my door with nothing written on it.

----ing idiots.

Ouch, if you can maybe get statues to be held at fedex/ups/ps location.
I prefer the headache of picking it up than the random delivery times and occasional bonehead local drivers.
