Thanks, I guess the "Valkyrie in a Boat" didn't sell very well and I kind of like the new Valkyrie better but since I have this one I didn't get the new one. I do like it too. I think there are less than 100 of them in the world, rarely ever see one for sale.

Overall I prefer the boat version, both the base and the pose are better and actually make me think valkyrie; the new one makes me think marvel. A mix between the boat pose and base, with the topless valkyrie hair and the polish and details of the new one would be perfection. As it is, I don't want any of them.

I will say that almost without exception when people see my collection for the first time the two pieces they are immediately drawn to and ask me questions about are the DD (for obvious reasons) and the Valkyrie in a boat. It always surprises me how people are drawn to it for some reason.

Well, if you use the ex head on Achilles, I'm sure that's going to be the main attraction. I'm still bitter about that one, I've had it but had to return it because the nose guard was broken and the sword was loose in the hilt.

That is a really cheap (I think I paid $29 for her) faux bronze one that I got on ebay and had painted. Once I got it I almost kept it as is because I liked it so much. But I wanted it painted to accentuate my poseidon and she is the right scale. Here is one right now for $23 on Ebay so you can see what she looked like before I had her painted.

and here is one a slightly different color

Jennifer Lujan painted mine for me. She hardly ever comes here anymore but here name here is Endsongjen
