Dear Prime 1, if you don't know how to paint a bloody sword, don't do it.


And, Dear Prime 1, this is a totaly (paint) fail. This is the only way to attach the tail. Fortunately, you don't see that, but I'll probably fix it at some point. Likewise the sword.


Otherwise I'm really totally happy. Sonjas skin in particular is really good.
Because of the pictures I had concerns but the skin looks so realistic.
And her face, eyes, .. just fantastic

The sword does look odd will have to check mine.

Yes the blood on the sword is so unnatural
looks as if it was painted on and not as if it was
part of a life and death struggle.

Those issues didn't catch my eye when I unboxed mine. One thing I did notice after having more time to look mine over was how sloppily the paint was applied to the skulls. There was also some over spray where the tail met the base. I was still happy with it overall though.

I don't think an exchange is possible. I contacted Sideshow who sent me the same canned response I've seen others post on the forum before;

"I do not believe we can provide you a replacement that would be a significant improvement over your current item. Your requests regarding the paint applications is normal for this piece, as all the collectibles I examined looked similar to your current item"

They did offer me the option to return it for a refund. I'm not unhappy enough with it to go that route.
